David Barrow

My work is inspired by my own nostalgia and has autobiographical undertones. In particular, childhood memories of local scenes and reminiscing over holidays and days out are the main focal point of the work. The style of this collection is echoing a childlike quality with the simple repetitive shapes and bright colours. The work has a narrative of its own, but also evokes personal interpretations in the viewer.
