I intend my pots to be seen as ceramic paintings. I am fascinated by the possibilities and richness of mark making, texture and colour that can be achieved with ceramic materials. My work is a response to my deep fascination with the environment and landscape around me. I want my work to evoke a feeling of place, time, narrative or changing seasons.
